To enhance the load-bearing capacity of the cage semi-trailer, efforts can be made by optimizing the structural design, using high-strength materials, improving the suspension system, and rationally planning the design of body components. The following is a detailed introduction:


1. Optimize the structural design

Adopting the through-beam structure: The frame of the cage semi-trailer adopts the through-beam structure, which is welded together by longitudinal beams and integral through-beam, forming a spatial frame structure. This makes the strength, toughness and rigidity of the frame balanced, enhances the load-bearing capacity and reduces deformation.

Reasonable design of the frame: The frame is a key part of the semi-trailer. Generally, it adopts a frame with eight beams at the top, ten at the bottom and five at the top, a 30-ton through beam with a panel side beam and 4.0 reinforcement, etc., which can effectively enhance the load-bearing capacity. For instance, some vehicle models have enhanced the load-bearing limit of the frame by increasing its width and thickness and adopting special reinforcement methods.

Optimize the vehicle body height and force distribution: Raising the vehicle body can enhance the load-bearing capacity, but the height requirements of the vehicle body for the cargo source need to be taken into consideration. Meanwhile, the force-bearing structure of the rear tail should be reasonably designed to avoid the sagging of the rear fist part. Reinforcement of key parts: Reinforcement is carried out by laying plates on the vertical plates of the main beam. Two reinforcement plates are placed at the front and back, and reinforcement is carried out on the front left and right sides of the three Bridges. A total of four high-strength plates are used for reinforcement. This not only increases the load-bearing capacity of the trailer but also reduces the self-weight of the vehicle body.


3. Improve the suspension system

Selecting high-performance suspension components, such as air suspension or more robust leaf springs, can enhance the stability and comfort of semi-trailers and increase their load-carrying capacity.

Reasonably adjust the suspension parameters: According to the weight of the goods and the driving road conditions, precisely adjust the hardness, height and shock absorption effect of the suspension to ensure that the vehicle can maintain good handling and carrying capacity under different conditions.


4. Plan the design of vehicle body components reasonably

Optimize the configuration of wheels and axles: Adopt designs such as thickened pressure-reducing and pressure-bearing air compressors, smooth and warm compound axles, and thickened steel plates to enhance the load-bearing capacity of wheels and axles. For instance, the thickened design of the 16-width 5-beam rear rapid steel variable beam is adopted to enhance the strength and stability of the axle.

Adding reinforcing components such as anti-steel beams: High-strength steel composite anti-steel beams and other reinforcing components for the entire vehicle are installed to enhance the overall strength and load-bearing capacity of the vehicle body. For instance, more than 24 rear thickened anti-steel beams and 4 horizontal and inclined elevators and other reinforcement structures are set up.
